8 Tricks to Save More at Target

It seems like Target never runs out of everyday low prices. However, with some extra tricks, you can bring these costs even lower. Below are eight tips to follow to save more money at Target today.

1. Get Target coupons.
Of course, this is the most obvious way to save money at Target. Visit the website and grab a few coupons before heading to the store to get discounts from food to other household supplies.

2. Stack your coupons.
Not all retailers let you double dip coupons, but Target does. To get the most savings, you can use Target coupons, manufacturer coupons, and Cartwheel coupons all on the same item.

3. Combine sales and coupons.
Is an item already on sale? Get a coupon for it to bring the price even lower!

4. Check the wall-facing end caps.
Before going down the aisles, take a peek at the wall-facing end caps first. Target stores all of the discounted items on the shelves at the end of their isles.

5. Price match items.
Get this: If you find an item in the store for less at target.com, amazon.com, walmart.com, bestbuy.com, toysrus.com, babiesrus.com, or a competitor’s local printed ad, you can bring your receipt in with proof of the lower price and Target will give you the difference.

6. Bring a reusable bag.
Of course, the biggest reward is helping the environment a little, but every time you bring in your reusable bags, Target will take $.05 off of your purchase.

7. Download the Target Cartwheel app.
This is Target’s social coupon app. Download it, log in, and present the coupons you want to use to the cashier when you check out. Coupons through the app can be used up to four times! It is an incredibly easy way to cut your costs every time you shop.

8. Get a Target REDcard.
You get 5% cash back on everything you purchase at Target when you sign up for the Target REDcard. Bonus: free shipping at target.com and an extra 30 days to return items. You have to admit that is a good deal.
