Best Credit Cards With High Credit Limits

Typically, credit cards with generous credit limits are saved for consumers with good or excellent credit. If you apply for a new card, you could receive a $5,000 limit if your credit is in good standing. But if you have excellent credit, you could get a credit limit as high as $10,000. However, keep in mind that this isn’t always the case.

Not only that, but your credit score isn’t the only thing that creditors use to determine your credit limit. Your income and current debt are also important factors, as the card issuer wants to know if you can afford a higher spending limit.

Moreover, a high credit limit may not mean the same thing for everyone. For instance, if you have bad credit, your credit limit will be significantly smaller than if you had good or excellent credit.

Keeping that in mind, here are Wallethub’s January picks for the best credit cards with high credit limits.
